Service Architect
My client is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge service solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations and they’re looking for a passionate Service Architect to join their expanding technical sales team. If you have a knack for service design management and a vision for what services should look like beyond their implementation, I want to hear from you.
As a Service Architect, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring their service solutions align with their organization’s Standard Service Offerings and their customers’ specific service requirements. Working closely with internal stakeholders and customers, you’ll leverage your service management knowledge to oversee service delivery, design, and implementation, ensuring seamless transitions and ongoing support beyond implementation.
Your day-to-day:
- Ensure service solutions align with organizational Standard Service Offerings and customers’ service requirements.
- Support the design and implementation of SLAs to facilitate the continued transition of our products and services to customers.
- Utilize your strong problem-solving skills to address service-related challenges and provide hands-on support as needed.
- Interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Maintain SC clearance or be willing to undergo SC clearance.
- Possess technical knowledge across various disciplines, including virtualization, security, networking, and cloud services.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in service architecture and ITIL framework practices.
About you:
- Experience in service management, engineering, or delivery roles in a managed services environment.
- Strong understanding of service architecture, ITIL framework practices, and general business principles.
- ITIL v4 Foundation and/or TOGAF Level 1/2 certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Technical proficiency in virtualization (e.g., VMware), vendor-specific disciplines (e.g., Palo Alto, Dell), service operations toolsets (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), SIEM tooling, security/encryption/networking methods (e.g., MFA, VPN, Zero Trust), Microsoft Azure, Office 365/Microsoft 365, and basic knowledge of AWS service offerings.
- Ability to conceptualize solutions incorporating bare metal, cloud, and virtualized infrastructure.
