Senior IT Product Owner
Are you a seasoned IT professional with a passion for security and innovation? Join my client as their Senior IT Product Owner, where you’ll drive the development and security of their corporate Information Technology systems, ensuring seamless operations across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of IT products, balancing user needs with stringent security requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software suppliers, security engineers, and IT professionals.
- Plan and manage product release timelines to ensure timely and secure delivery.
- Stay ahead of emerging security threats, continuously enhancing product security features.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, aligning tasks with business goals and security standards.
- Collect and analyze user feedback, refining products to meet evolving needs.
- Communicate the vision and strategy of our internal product portfolio, ensuring team alignment.
- Monitor progress, making adjustments to maintain focus on security and performance.
- Act as the primary liaison between development, security teams, and other business units.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT product management, with a strong background in corporate IT.
- Expertise in security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, NCSC Cyber Essentials+).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Eligibility for UK Security Check (SC) clearance, with potential for Developed Vetting (DV).
