Lead Mobile Developer

I’m looking to speak with Lead Mobile Developers for a brand-new role. You’d be joining a thriving health and beauty organisation that has been through a significant period of growth and now they’re looking for a talented Mobile Developer to come in and make a real differenced to this fast-growing technology business. This is a remote role that will require 2 days a month in the office.

To be successful you’ll need to be an expert mobile developer with extensive knowledge of the React Native development, deployment, and hosting implementations. You’ll have experience leading teams, managing projects from requirement gathering to deployment, and have a proven track record of building pixel-perfect UIs across both mobile platforms.

Your day-to-day:

·       Driving the technology direction with the other Developers and the CTO

·       Coding to a high standard, agnostic of platforms and frameworks

·       Onboarding/supporting middle and junior-level team members

·       Leading/managing a team of developers and their output including conducting security and coding reviews

·       Devising, explaining, and reviewing technical solutions with the team

·       Testing work both through automation and manual testing practices

·       Supporting internal and community projects

·       Contributing to project planning and estimates

Your skills & experience:

·       React Native experience (OOP skills, building mobile applications that look and feel native)

·       Mobile CI/CD usage and implementation

·       Experience with relevant AWS cloud services and maintenance (AWS Cognito, Amplify, and AppSync)

·       Integration and architectural knowledge of React implementations

·       Live troubleshooting and problem solving skills as well as working 3rd part dependencies and debugging dependencies

·       JavaScript, HTML5, XML/XSL, SOAP, REST, AJAX and CSS3

·       Document request model/offline storage

·       Agile best practices

·       TypeScript and ability to write well-documented, clean, JavaScript code

·       Native build tools (e.g. XCode)

·       NPM and Firebase

·       Database structures, SQL and optimisation (NoSQL databases)

·       SEO best practices from a development perspective

·       Magento, BC365, Lambda, and or .Net (desirable)
