Data Architect
Are you a seasoned Data Architect with a passion for building robust and scalable data infrastructures? I’m looking for an expert to define and scale my client’s data strategy, ensuring compliance, governance, and security across their data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain a technology roadmap for our data infrastructure.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures for real-time data processing.
- Develop relational and non-relational data solutions that are high-performing and scalable.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and data science teams to optimize data workflows.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance our data capabilities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture or a related role.
- Expertise in data governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of relational (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., NoSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, Azure Event-Hubs, AWS Kinesis).
- Proficiency in large-scale data warehousing, ETL platforms, and cloud environments (Azure preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
