Azure Cloud Engineer

I’m looking to speak with Azure Cloud Engineers for a brand new role working with one of my thriving clients.

You’d be joining a business that delivers fully managed secure ICT services and is going through a wave of expansion. As the successful candidate you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining their cloud infrastructure on the Azure platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and secure cloud solutions.

Your day-to-day:

·       Designing, deploying, and managing Azure cloud-based solutions to meet business requirements

·       Collaborating with stakeholders, including developers, architects, and ops teams to define cloud architecture and infrastructure requirements

·       Automating deployment/management processes using IaC tools like ARM templates, PowerShell, or Azure CLI

·       Monitoring and optimising Azure infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement needed enhancements

·       Performing regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and ensuring high-availability of cloud-based applications

·       Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in Azure Cloud technologies

·       Providing technical guidance and support to other team members

Your skills & experience:

·       Experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role

·       Strong understanding of Azure services and architecture

·       Experience designing/implementing scalable, highly available, and secure Azure cloud solutions

·       Proficient in deploying/managing infrastructure using IaC tools

·       Knowledge of networking concepts (Virtual Networks, Subnets, Load Balancers, and VPNs)

·       Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control systems

·       Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

·       Azure certifications highly desirable
