Application Support Analyst
We’re working with a well-established end-user organisation looking to add an Application Support Analyst to their internal IT team. The Role
As an Application Support Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting and maintaining critical business applications across the organisation. You’ll work closely with users across multiple departments, troubleshooting issues, improving system performance, and supporting ongoing projects and upgrades.
This role would suit someone with strong application support experience who enjoys problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and working within a collaborative in-house environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for business-critical applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and user issues
- Manage incidents, service requests, and system escalations
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements
- Support system upgrades, testing, and implementations
- Maintain system documentation and support procedures
- Liaise with third-party vendors and external support providers
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
Experience Required
- Previous experience in an Application Support / Systems Support / ERP Support role
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting business applications within an end-user environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
- Experience working with ticketing systems and service management processes
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, finance, or operational systems would be beneficial
- Understanding of SQL, reporting tools, or integrations would be advantageous
