Agentic AI Developer

Contract Length: Initial 3–6 months with extension potential

We’re looking for an experienced Agentic AI Developer to join a fast-moving team building next-generation AI systems and autonomous workflows. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to architect and ship production-ready AI agents, not just prompt engineer them.

You’ll work on designing intelligent multi-step workflows, integrating LLMs into real business operations, and building reliable agentic systems that can reason, plan, and execute tasks autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build AI agents and autonomous workflows using modern LLM frameworks
  • Develop production-grade systems around agent orchestration, memory, tool use, and multi-agent collaboration
  • Work extensively with Claude models and Anthropic tooling, including Claude Code
  • Build integrations with APIs, databases, internal systems, and external tools
  • Create scalable backend services for AI-powered applications
  • Improve reliability, observability, evaluation, and guardrails for agent behaviour
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams to rapidly prototype and deploy solutions

Essential Skills

  • Strong commercial experience developing AI/LLM applications
  • Proven experience with Claude Code and Anthropic ecosystems
  • Deep understanding of agentic workflows and AI orchestration patterns
  • Strong Python development skills
  • Experience with frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar
  • Experience integrating APIs, vector databases, RAG pipelines, and tool-calling systems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment pipelines
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced contract environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience building internal AI copilots or workflow automation systems
  • Knowledge of evaluation frameworks, observability, and AI safety/guardrails
  • Frontend experience for AI interfaces or dashboards
  • Experience fine-tuning or working with multiple LLM providers

What We’re Looking For

Our client wants someone hands-on, pragmatic, and highly technical, someone who can move quickly from concept to deployment and understands the realities of building reliable AI systems in production.

If you’ve been deeply involved in the agentic AI space and are excited about building systems that genuinely automate work, we’d love to hear from you.
