Senior Salesforce Developer

We are working with a fantastic organisation in London that has a global reach and they are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer. If successful you’ll be supporting the company’s Salesforce capability expansion by working on projects that entail requirement gathering to design and implementation. This is a great role that’ll allow the successful Developer to be part of a dynamics team while interacting with stakeholders across different departments and levels.

Your responsibilities:

• Interacting with stakeholders to understand what Salesforce requirements there are and translating them into technical specifications
• Managing the delivery of functional/technical solutions and system integrations including testing strategies and executions
• Managing existing integrations between Salesforce and other applications, as well as building new ones
• Ensuring proposed technical solutions meet Salesforce coding best practice
• Chairing information gathering workshops/conducting one-to-one interviews and producing documents to allow data capture
• Working with business colleagues to gain user acceptance and take up
• Creating and keeping Salesforce related technical documents/training materials
• Ensuring the Salesforce data storage is within limit
• Providing support for the day-to-day management of Salesforce.com
• Performing/executing functional testing. Developing use cases, test scripts and translating them for usage in automated regression testing.
• Creating custom build reports for trend analysis using standard reports functionality as well as reporting snapshot and historical trending

Essential Skills:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• In-depth and progressive Salesforce experience (administrator to developer) gained in a similar role
• Certifications in Salesforce.com Development, Administration and Service Cloud
• Development with semi-structured data like JSON
• Salesforce integration with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Eloqa or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP API’s
• Salesforce.com Service or Service Cloud
• Ability to design complex SOQL and SOSL queries
• Experience of using middleware solutions such as Informatica, MuleSoft or Scribe to integrate with other applications
• Experience of using custom controllers or Salesforce Canvas to integrate with external web service tool

• Ability to design complex SOQL and SOSL queries
• Point-and-click development in a Lighning environment
• Able to manage code coverage within governance limits
• Analysis and design through to successful implementation of Salesforce.com including experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Controllers, Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, Web Services

Desirable Skills:

• Working knowledge of Zuora
• Data structures, data modelling, DB schema
• Java and Javascript

• Agile development methodologies
