Pre-Sales Consultant

I am working with a fantastic London-based consultancy that is going through a sustained period of growth and to meet their initiatives they’ve got an exciting opening for a Pre-Sales Consultant. As the successful Pre-Sales Consultant you’ll be the “first boots on the ground” and help build the company’s pre-sales function.

 

You’ll start by examining the market and potential clients where the company will be selling services and products to. You’ll research industry trends and use the insights you’ve gleaned to identify new business opportunities and ensure the company tailors its messaging appropriately.

 

Your day-to-day:

·       Research business/industry trends in their specialist industry to identify potential new clients and markets and ways to serve existing clients better

·       Creating a plan for generating leads

·       Increasing contact database by generating quality leads via on-line/face-to-face meetings, social media, webinars, industry events, emailing

·       Working on customer market advertisements

·       Working with Senior Management Team responding to RDPs and creating proposals

·       Updating internal company Salesforce CRM system with customer and pipeline data. Producing reports on sales results and forecasts and log all client communications and activities

·       Representing the company at industry events, seminars and conferences including organising their presence and meeting at key events

·       Creating opportunities to sponsor and present at events

 

Your skills & experience:

·       A deep understanding and proven capability of B2B pre-sales

·       Mastery of Salesforce products/supplementary products and integrations

·       Prospecting, forecasting and pipeline management

·       Strong grasp of key metrics and developing/producing regular, clear reporting of pipeline and forecasting

·       Channel understanding and experience of building channel eco-systems

·       Engaging and effective presentation and communication skills and the ability to convey unique selling points and the features and benefits of solutions
