Commercial Product Manager

I’m looking to speak with experienced Commercial Product Managers with strong backgrounds in delivering back-end system change within multi-channel, multi-national retailers for a brand new London based role. If you’ve got strong knowledge of operational processes and systems that drive a retail business, and have experience building and nurturing relationships with stakeholders while guiding the delivery of large portfolios of change then this could be the role for you.

 

This position would see you reporting to the Head of Systems as the company embarks on an ambitious mission to skyrocket growth in all channels.

 

Your day-to-day:

·       Working hand-in-hand with various teams to identify and improve pain points in the operational processes

·       Be the driving force between business stakeholders and IT to share a compelling customer-centred vision for new capabilities

·       Conducting research and testing with end users to inform product requirements

·       Conveying the value and expectation of the product to developers, stakeholders and vendors through stories, acceptance criteria and detailed descriptions

·       Defining product metrics, objectives, and key results to measure the success of product strategy

·       Collaborating closely with end-user departments and IT to introduce new tools to improve the ability to measure the impact of possible changes

·       Working closely with analytics experts to create technical roadmaps for evolving the management of complex data sets

 

Your skills & experience:

·       Able to quickly understand and influence

·       Documenting and explaining complex requirements

·       Prioritising end-to-end needs

·       Helping technical and business teams navigate new solutions to find the optimal way to delivery quickly

·       Experience driving product vision

·       Delivering a roadmap

·       Leading technical design discussions

·       5+ years of product management experience

·       Knowledge of functional areas such as Retail Products, Wholesale, Finance and Operations

·       Analytical mindset (familiar with Google Analytics, Power BI, or similar)

·       Product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Slack, etc.)

·       Proactive approach to Product Management that anticipates the needs of others

·       Experience developing/launching products technologies within one or more of the following: direct-to-consumer retailer, SaaS (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, MS Business Central/Navision, EDI, PLM would be an advantage)
